I love challenges. With challenges though comes lots of planning and hard work. I wanted to capture 10 different looks in one day of the same model. Different looks can come from wardrobe, expression, hair, make up, location etc. The challenge is of this type of shoot is time management. I have worked with Jacky before and luckily she was also up for the challenge.
The only way to succeed with this type of shoot is to do three things: plan, plan, plan. I spent hours prepping for this shoot and still found I had to work against the clock. I scouted locations, conceived shots, arranged wardrobe and coordinated with Jacky and Genevieve, the MUA and hairstylist. I couldn’t plan the weather though and we had to work around some down pours. We were very lucky though because when we started shooting outside, it stopped raining for a few hours allowing us to capture a few looks outside.
Call time was 9:30 and we shot through to about 7pm. Yes, this shoot was challenging and lots of fun work but it was also very rewarding. We captured some great images that day.
